Weekends are too Short!
I wish the weekends were three days long. There just isn’t enough time in two days to get enough relaxing in and do all the necessary errands and preparations for the week ahead. Ah well, complaining isn’t going to keep Monday from appearing, so I better get ready now. Today were making two dishes that should fuel our lunches the entire week, Slow Cooker Ginger Apple Shredded Pork from PaleOmg (Minus the Honey) and Unrolled Cabbage Casserole from Health-Bent. I haven’t tried either of these recipes so hopefully they turn out tasty!
I have to take a second here and mention how I’m feeling now that we’ve been doing the Whole30 for an entire week. The first few days were a little rough – pushing through sugar cravings is never easy, but I definitely feel like the pain is worth it when I have workouts like this morning at CrossFit. Either I’m really starting to improve or eating Whole30 clean is helping because I kicked some ass today.
Our Times (I can’t do double-unders, so I did double singles)

Wallballs are always really hard for me, but I flew through them today. I was so proud of myself, I lOVE that feeling.
Being proud outside of Target in my new CrossFit duds:

I’m excited to see how we’re doing at the end of the month. Oh, and by the way, I give the Old Navy exercise gear a B+. The jacket is awesome, but the capris kept falling down. I felt really silly pulling my pants up constantly during our workout – glad they were cheap!
